On 14 February 2023 Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency: TICA met with Mr. Alexander BOHMER, Head of Division, South Asia-Southeast Asia, Global Relations and Co-operation Directorate (GRC), OECD. Mr. Tiyarat NIAMKOHPHET-CADER, Advisor, GRC/SASEA; and Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General were also present.

 

Mr. Alexander mentioned that this was the first time for him to meet the Director General of TICA, and he was very please for this opportunity as he considered TICA to be one of the crucial partners of OECD for development cooperation. He stated that his division is responsible for Country Program; phase 2 (CP2) between Thailand and OECD.

 

DG. Ureerat informed that CP2 between Thailand and OECD has the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) and Department of International Economic Affairs as national focal points. TICA submitted a project proposal on Strengthening Development Cooperation under the CP2. The objective is to share Thailand’s experiences with OECD as an addition to the ODA data base and reporting mechanism.
