On 22 November 2022, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Ms. Eynat Shlein, Head of Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV) and H.E. Ms. Orna Sagiv, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Thailand, during Head of MASHAV’s visit to Thailand to attend the ACMECS Development Partners Senior Official’s meeting on 20-21 November 2022. Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division, and Mr. Ariel Seidman, Deputy Chief of Mission of Embassy of Israel in Thailand, also attended the meeting.

Both sides underscored the importance of the collaboration between TICA and MASHAV and reaffirmed the readiness to implement the activities as discussed during the 5th Development Dialogue between Thailand and Israel in May 2022. On this occasion, both sides agreed to implement one bilateral activity on issue related to innovative water solution in agriculture and one trilateral activity on public health. The beneficial countries include Mekong sub-region and ASEAN member countries. In addition, Director-General of TICA reiterated TICA’s readiness to work closely with Israel to promote development cooperation in this region, particularly under the ACMECS framework.
