On 5 September 2025, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), attended the closing ceremony of the “Building Smart Cities” training course under the Thailand–Singapore Third Country Training Programme (TCTP), as well as a reception celebrating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore. The event was hosted by H.E. Mrs. Ureerat Charoentoh, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore at the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore.

The attendees included Ms. Jolene Tan, Director-General of the Technical Cooperation Directorate (TCD), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, along with members of the diplomatic corps, senior Singaporean officials, TICA officials and distinguished guests, as well as 25 trainees from 14 participating countries and Thai lecturers, bringing the total number of participants to over 60.

On this occasion, the Director-General and TICA officials visited ST Engineering Innosuite, a company recognized for its expertise in digital technology and world-class engineering, in support of smart city development.

This training course is part of the Thailand–Singapore trilateral cooperation, through which both countries aim to enhance the capacity of personnel from ASEAN member states, Timor-Leste, and South Asian countries, in order to bridge development gaps and advance the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
