On September 3, 2025, Lt. Sorawud Preededilok, Minister attached to the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), attended the 32nd Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) of the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) in Trang Province.

During the meeting, a TICA representative, serving as Chair of the Working Group on Human Resource Development (WGHRD), presented the outcomes of the brainstorming session and reported on the key discussions of the 15th WGHRD Meeting, held on July 2, 2025, in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province in collaboration with Walailak University.

The report highlighted the working group’s ongoing projects under the IMT-GT Implementation Blueprint (IB) 2022–2026, the challenges encountered, and the way forward. It also outlined the specific areas in which member countries have agreed to promote training initiatives, namely:

2.Renewable Energy
3.Service Sector (Digital, Finance, and Insurance)
4.Semiconductor Industry
5.Food Security and Smart Agriculture
