On 10 October 2025, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), met with Mr. Adnan H. Aliani, Director of the Strategy and Programme Management Division at the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), to discuss development cooperation between TICA and ESCAP at the Meeting Room 2, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

ESCAP commended TICA for its continued and tangible efforts in advancing South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC). On this occasion, both sides discussed future directions for enhancing development cooperation, including the 2^nd year of the ESCAP Visiting Fellows for South-South Cooperation programme, knowledge and experience sharing on Monitoring and Evaluation  (M&E) of development cooperation. ESCAP and TICA will also co-host the 7^th Asia-Pacific Directors General (APDG) Forum for South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC), including the Brainstorming Session among the Emerging Development Partners (EDPs) scheduled to be held from 2-4 December 2025 at the United Nations Conference Centre, Bangkok.
