On the occasion of the official visit of H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), together with high-level executives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on 16 October 2025. Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency, handed over vocational training equipment to Savannakhet Technical Vocational College in Savannakhet Province, as well as anti-snake venom serum to Phonhong Hospital in Vientiane Province. H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand, and H.E. Mr. Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of Lao PDR witnessed the event.

The vocational training equipment presented to Savannakhet Technical Vocational College aims to support the Business Administration, the Department of Electronics and IT, and the Department of Home Economics. This assistance will enhance the college’s teaching capacity, develop vocational skills, and prepare Lao workers for the labour markets of both countries.

The anti-snake venom serum handed over to Phonhong Hospital consists of four types of antivenom—Malayan pit viper, green pit viper, neurotoxic mixed venom, and hematotoxic venom—totalling 750 boxes. The latest donation forms part of a series of activities commemorating the 75th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Lao PDR.
