On 16 January 2025, Ms. Pin Sridurongkatum, Secretary of the Department, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) , attended the opening ceremony of the 30^th Thai International Travel Fair under the theme “Ultimate Journeys”, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. As part of this event, TICA invited Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, Lao PDR (MICT), as well as community sector and related private sector with promotion booth to showcase the tourism of Feuang district, Lao PDR.

The booth exhibition resulted from implementation of the Project on Community – Based Ecotoursim in Lao PDR. The project is a collaboration between TICA, Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (Public Organization) (DASTA) and, MICT which aims to promote tourism of Feuang district and to boost the tourism between Thailand - Lao PDR, on both sides of the Mekong river between Loei province and Feuang district. The booth received attention and visits from Thai and foreign attendees, including foreign media.
