Thailand Promotes Sustainable Development through Human Resource Development for ACD Member States

As the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Chair in 2025, Thailand through Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirms the country’s commitment to accerelating  the closer cooperation and building bridges among ACD member countries through human resource development for mutual prosperity and sustainability.

In 2025, TICA offered two International Training Courses for ACD member countries: (1) “Sufficiency Economy Philosophy towards Creative Economy,” organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Communications, Naresuan University, from
12 to 24 May 2025, with 16 participants from 12 countries and (2) “Food Tech Drives Future Food: Experiencing in Thailand,” organized by the Faculty of Food Technology, College of Agricultural Innovation and Food Technology, Rangsit University, from 1 to 10 July 2025, with 15 participants from 8 countries.

Both international training courses are Thailand’s commitment to enhancing regional cooperation between member countries of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) in particular human resource development. It also promoteThailand's role and presence as a center for academic and sustainable development exchange in the region which will benefit for exchanging knowledge, sharing experiences and strengthening personnel capabilities and networks. The close collaboration in advancing human resource development between Thailand and ACD member countries are significantly drivers for prospority and coping with future challenges of Asia.
