The Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), in collaboration with the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organized the Advanced Diplomatic Capacity Building Programme for Officials from Lao PDR (ADCB) from
7 to 11 September 2026 at DVIFA in Bangkok.

Attended by 20 officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lao PDR, the programme is part of the third Thailand–Lao PDR Three-Year Development Cooperation Programme (2026–2028) for Human Resource Development.

The training focused on enhancing participants' knowledge and practical skills in international law and negotiation for effective engagement in bilateral and multilateral diplomacy. It also emphasized strengthening strategic communication, public speaking, and presentation skills for international forums, while fostering closer professional networks between the two countries.
