On April 4, 2025, Mr. Piyabutr Cholvijarn, Vice-Chair and President of Kenan Foundation Asia, Mr. Pradap Pibulsonggram, Kenan executive committee member, together with Kenan’s senior staff members, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), on the occasion of his assumption of duty. Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of TICA, Ms. Chidchanok Malayawong, Director of Development Promotion and Coordination Division, as well as the Foundation and TICA’s staff members were also present at the meeting room 2, TICA office.

On this occasion, both parties discussed means of strengthening bilateral and trilateral cooperation in areas of the Kenan Foundation's expertise that align with TICA's development policies, with a focus on enhancing human security. The areas include: (1) Education and Employability; (2) MSME Development; and (3) the Promotion of Social Inclusion, as well as other emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, green skills development, and food waste management.

In addition, both parties agreed to explore the possibility of establishing a joint working group between TICA and the Kenan Foundation to advance sustainable and tangible cooperation for the benefit of the people of Thailand and the Greater Mekong Subregion.
