Overview

            Thailand emphasizes on people-centered and human resource development as vital foundation for economic and social development.  Such emphasis is the fabric of TICA’s mission and activities.  TICA also functions as human resource development agency for Thailand in sub-regional and regional grouping, i.e. Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS), Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS), Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC), and Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT.)
